The National Association of Local Boards of Health is excited to announce that the 17th Annual Conference, "Improving Public Health through Leadership and Knowledge,"will be held from July 1-3, 2009 in historic Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Purpose
Conference activities will provide attendees with information, skills, and resources to help them improve public health in their communities. The conference will also offer time for attendees to learn and share information on critical public health issues, as well as the ability to describe how local, state, and federal partners share responsibility for promoting and improving public health.
